Hi! I thought it would be interesting to compare myself to a human boy -- a certain one, actually. I saw him sleeping in bed one night when I jumped off the roof and peeked into his bedroom window.
We're going to compare and contrast our features.

| My weight at birth was about 8 1/2 ounces. |
The boy's weight at birth was about 3 1/2 pounds. That's about 3 pounds more than an ocelot (but I'm not sure because we ocelots don't know math very well. Plus, I'm only still a baby!)

Actually, when I looked into a different window in the same house, I saw a human girl who looked like his sister. I think they were twins. Boy! Ocelots and humans have a lot in common. On average, ocelots have two babies at a time.

When I grow up, I will be about 35 pounds and 35 inches long. But already, the boy (who is 7-1/2 years old) weighs 39.7 pounds and is 47 1/2 inches tall. That's heavier and longer than a full-grown ocelot!

Do you see how the boy is laying in the tree like that? Ocelots love to be in trees, too. We even sleep in them! I have a favorite tree of my own. It's a small ceiba tree with comfy bark and light green leaves, from my native rainforest in Costa Rica. Maybe this boy is an ocelot in disguise!
